Last year, the Straight Arrows hosted the first-ever Stone Lake Hare Scrambles and by all reports,
the event was a lot of fun. With a motocross track, and a mixture of open and wooded trails to
choose from, all on very hilly terrain, the course got rave reviews.
If you’ve ridden motocross,
but thought a Hare Scrambles was 2 ½ hours of single-track, this race may surprise you. Ideally,
the course should be equal roughly parts motocross, single-track, grass, and dual-track, and that
will again be the club’s goal.
